New Leadership Steering Partnership as it kicks off Seventh Year!

The Regional Skills Partnership is proud to introduce the new leadership team for 2014-2015!    As we continue to grow, we are excited to have new members join the ranks of leadership.  Officers for the Steering Committee are as follows:

  • Chair: Meg Patchett - Provost of the Cabarrus College of Health Sciences.  Meg has been a member of the Partnership since 2009 and is well-schooled in the Partnership’s past accomplishments and our goals for the future.  
  • Vice Chair: Mae Brooks - Assistant Director of Diversity and Employment at Novant Health
  • Treasurer: Ellen Sheppard- President of Carolinas College of Health Sciences
  • Secretary:  Kineka Hull- Director of Academic Affairs, and Department of Health Sciences at Winston Salem State University  
  • Additional Members –
    • Ann Callicutt-Southwest Regional Career and Technical Education Coordinator, NC Department of Public Instruction
    • Ruth Hedgpeth-Dean of Nursing, Allied Health, Early Childhood Education & Cosmetology at Central Piedmont Community College
    • David Hollars-Executive Director Centralina Workforce Development Board
    • Phil Geissinger-owner, PG Consulting,
    • Angela Karchmer-Executive Director, Gaston Workforce  Development Board
    • Jane Neese-Associate Dean, College of Health and Human Services, UNC-Charlotte
    • Steve Partridge-President/CEO Charlotte Works
    • Paul Schmaldinst-CSL Plasma Manager,
    • Joel Vickers, Professor and former Director of the Health Administration program at Pfeiffer University.  

These individuals all volunteer their time to the Partnership, while maintaining their full-time work commitments.   Thank you to all who are serving.  We could not do it without you!
